JJ expressed interest in owning a personalized wedding band with one natural real diamond. JJ wanted half a carat natural diamond. JJ explicitly didn't want a yellow gold. He wanted either white gold, silver or platinum.

"The Structure Of The Link" was chosen, which a minor change request.
The drawing held; only the edges changed. The links read a touch sharp, so every corner was softened until the band sat easy on a working hand. Then the platinum was given two finishes — the frames polished to a mirror, the core brushed to a satin — so the light moves across the band instead of sitting flat. The trillion stayed natural and alone. Nothing else was added; the blue stones of the reference were never missed, because the family had already taken their place.
