The Sound Beneath the Days
A devotee who hears the damru as stillness, not noise.
He came for a Shiva damru — not as an ornament, not for an occasion, but as the beat that steadies him. His days move to drum-heavy rhythm, to Shiva's damru instrumentals; when the drums play, they calm him. We began, as always, with the single serious question — what is the piece for — and the answer was already whole: an heirloom worn over the heart, his ongoing bhakti to Mahadev, made to outlive him and be handed on.
